Day two - sunrise and Sydney Harbour

Day two

Woke up around 4 am... I was feeling rested and ready to start my day. With other roommates I tried to be quite and gather my running gear. I waited until 530 ish before I headed outside as I didn't want to be going for a run in the darkness and in a new country by myself. To my surprise I wasn't the only one out enjoying the sunrise and I passed many locals along the beautiful costal walk. Pictures neve do a sunrise justice, but here's one anyways.

After a shower and some food, I was on a bus to the Sydney Harbour. I walked along the Sydney harbour bridge, which offered a gorgeous view. It was a little windy, making me a little nervous about my dress flying upwards. Luckily it didn't and the wind instead offered a bit of cool air to decrease the heat from the sun. After my walk along the bridge, I was ready to retreat from the sun for a moment, so I popped into the museum of contemporary art. Art is very interesting.... I questioned some pieces, but most were quite beautiful in their own ways. Best of all it was a free entry :). After the art gallery I walked around to the opera house to snatch a few pictures.

Unfortunately, I was exhausted by my early wake up, and by 4:30pm I was in bed. Needless to say, I have yet to experience to sydney night life. But, in some ways I think that running along the coast watching the sunrise is far more spectacular in my opinion.
